I finished yet another pair of baby booties. Blue and white stripes. I am starting to duplicate my colour choices, and I will split them up between a few different locations.

I donated 100 grains of rice. I think they’ve added new words to their vocabulary, because I didn’t encounter and words I’d seen before.

I watched Garbage Warrior tonight. It was pretty amazing. very eye-opening and inspiring. Definitely a must-watch for anyone who is into architecture, green living and sustainable living. I will probably watch it again soon.

I finished another pair of baby booties while I was watching the movie. I am going to start making some in larger sizes now. My arms need to take a break from knitting for a little while though.

September 1, 2010 (Day 146)

I finished yet another pair of baby booties. I have pretty much run out of colours to use, so I am going to start making duplicate pairs to be able to bring them to different stores. I think I may add a goal related to this… “Sell my handmade items in # stores” That might get my butt in gear to start A) making more and B) approaching stores.

We watched “Death At A Funeral”. Another bad movie to end the string of bad movies.

I am going to my parents for a couple days and I’ll hopefully watch a few more movies and knit a whole bunch.

August 31, 2010

I finished up another pair of baby booties. These are super quick to knit, I hope I can sell a few pairs.

Rick and I watched “Clash of the Titans” (the new version) as well as “The Bounty Hunter” and “The Back Up Plan”. I didn’t care for any of them, really. We’re probably going to watch some more movies tonight.

Finally time for a proper update.

I tossed 5 pounds of garbage the other day. And got rid of around 2 pounds of knitted stuff at the last couple craft shows.

I’ve been knitting like crazy. Finished another pair of baby booties, and started on a second in the same colour. I really really hope these sell. I think I will bring them to a couple local baby stores soon. Possibly buy some organic cotton and bring them to the Eco-store. We’ll have to see…

I took my nose ring out. I am getting tired of replacing balls that lose their threads. It was time for it to go, really.

I’ve been doing well on the to-do lists.

I need to watch some more movies soon. I canceled my Zip subscription and I haven’t watched anything lately.

August 25, 2010

I finished a pair of blue baby booties! I used an online pattern, and finished off a small skein of cotton. Still a teeny bit left, but not enough for a whole project. I think I will use it for the cuffs on another pair of booties, another time. Started on a second pair not long after. This pair is striped.

Nothing else to report right now.

August 24, 2010

Rick and I walked for over an hour and a half last night. It was so relaxing. My legs are a little sore today, but it felt so good to do that. I also walked to and from the grocery store today, and it was nice, as well.

I just finished a dishcloth, and I only have a teeny bit of cotton left from this skein. Calling this one finished! I am going to start on a new colour and make a couple more.

I started another project, but it is one of a pair. I am using cotton and an online pattern. We’ll see how this one turns out. I am having some issues with it.

August 23, 2010

I did my first craft show in a LONNNNG time today. It was the Made In Windsor Open Air Crafter’s Market, and it is a weekly event. I will be doing a few more of these, so I am super excited. I didn’t make a ton of money, but I had lots of fun. I am still ironing out prices, and how to layout my table. I will try out a few things in the next few days.

I am not counting this as my “Do one craft show goal” I think I will do something bigger for that one.

August 19, 2010

I have 8 goals complete so far. I am quite happy with my progress. There are quite a few things that I am still working on, and others that I haven’t started yet. I still need to figure out those last couple goals. I may wait until the 6 month mark, at least, to see where I stand in life.

Finished a dishcloth this morning. Started another one after. I hope to sell a few of them on Sunday at the market. I have a lot to get ready for that, including pricing, getting change, making some kind of signage, rounding up some of my business cards (I REALLY need to order more!!!)

Life just went really sour, I don’t know if I am going to continue with this list.
